| The Twin Four Star II series features improved weight and balance, as well as high-impact polypropylene handles that are permanently bonded to the knife blades without gaps. Each blade uses the precision SIGMAFORGE construction and is made from the J.A. Henckels exclusive formula high carbon, no-stain steel that is precision-hand honed to stay sharper for longer, and have a more consistent blade angle. The steel is hardened using the patented Friodur ice hardening system for maximum no-stain properties and excellent blade strength because of the improved resistance to corrosion and pitting. The polypropylene handles have a stainless steel logo cap and are permanently bonded to the full rat-tail tang giving the knife proper balance and greater strength, as well as making it more hygienic. The most important elements of a meat cleaver are the weight and balance. A large and heavy blade is ideal to help cut and split bones, and chop through joints of uncooked, unprepared meats and poultry.
